U Mumba will take on the Patna Pirates in the first match of the final day of the Ahmadabad Leg at the Arena by Transstadia, Ahmedabad on Friday, 16th August at 7:30 PM IST in game 43 of PKL 2019. It will be an epic clash between the defense of U Mumba versus the heavy offense of Patna Pirates. U Mumba stands at the 8th spot with three wins to their name. Patna Pirates, on the other hand, are at the 10th spot and will be looking to move to the upper tier of the table.

U Mumba lost 32-30 to the Bengal Warriors in their last outing despite the impressive performance of young raider Arjun Deshwal who covered up well for the injured Abhishek Singh. The Pirates meanwhile got a thumping 41-20 win over UP Yoddha in the final game of their home leg thanks to a Super ten from Pardeep and 8 tackle points from Neeraj Kumar ending a bad run of games.
Young Arjun Deshwal is sure to retain his spot and will want to shine against the Patna defense. Abhishek could recover in time and can make it if fit.
Patna VS U mumba
Defensively, Surinder Singh starred yet again with 4 tackle points, and the rest of the defense did do a decent job and can be expected to continue in the starting 7. Patna looked pretty comfortable against UP, thanks to Neeraj’s stellar defensive display and some support for Pardeep in the form of Jang Kun Lee who got 5 raid points. Monu, however, could replace Mohammad Maghsoudlou who has had a torrid time in the last few games, failing to contribute in both raid and defense
With the cover combination and Neeraj and Vikas yielding points, they are sure to be unchanged. Hadi and Jaideep meanwhile need to be back at their best though they will continue in their roles.
