How To Do Party Makeup

Primer:

The first step to any makeup look is to apply a primer. Doing so will boost coverage, smoothen out your texture, minimize pores, and increase the longevity of your makeup. If you are going to be running around or sweating, a primer is a must.

Concealer:

A good concealer effectively covers blemishes and spots. Your concealer colour must be following your skin colour. Take a small brush and apply it. To mix well, you dab it with your fingers. If you apply the concealer in a triangular formation, then it will hide the dark circles under your eye.

Foundation:

Now, the next step for your party makeup will be the application of a foundation to your face for a flawless and beautiful look. You need to mix it appropriately where the concealer is applied. For the best results, you must use the makeup sponge. The brush to be used for applying the foundation must be moved in a circular motion.

Powder:

Your party makes up will stay for a more extended period by applying powder. The powder must be translucent and matches the shade of your foundation.

Eyes:

You must apply eyelid primer as it will help make your eyeshadow last for a long time. If you are attending formal events, then use greys or browns. Shimmery eyeshadow is perfect for party makeup.

Mascara:

Start by curling your lashes with a lash curler. Place the curler at the base of your upper lashes, close the curler, and hold it in place for a few seconds. Apply the top layer and down layer. Once done, keep eyes closed for at least 15 to 30 seconds and let your mascara dry up.

 Eyeliner

You can use a liquid or pencil eyeliner on your eyelids. Draw a thin line of eyeliner on your top eyelid above your lash line, starting from the corner of your eye and moving to the end of your eyelid.

Blush:

Gently apply blush to give a natural look and brightens your cheeks. For good results, you must smile while applying blush and must get the desired skin tone. In case you’ve gone overboard with your blush, use your compact powder to color-correct. You don’t want to end up looking like a clown.

Lip Liner:

You must go for a liner colour that matches the lipstick shade. It will help hold your lipstick for a long time.

Lipstick:

Now apply lipstick according to your skin tone and makeup. When you want to lighten your lipstick, take a tissue paper, fold it in half, placing it between your upper and lower lips.
